I can’t tell if you like this lab or not…. :)

Seriously though - super nice people and I enjoyed the events they set up for the community. I’d use them if I didn’t Dev & Scan at home.

I dev at home and I use them a lot for rolls that I simply can’t miss, or things that require chemicals I don’t have, like ECN-1 and E-6, or even black and white stuff.

Wow! I guess it was a great stroke of luck that you happened to choose that particular lab. Sounds like a great place and resource, with a very personal touch.

Thanks! And yeah, Gelatin Labs graduated me as a film photographer. They are so unique. And now they are transforming their spaces into something warming and welcoming for customers, with souvenir shops, cafe, and community events. It’s the combination of very right business vision and market study, because we all demand that - photos, coffee, and friendship.

First of all great post! Really makes me wish I lived near gelatin labs.

Second: before moving to Colorado, that was the lab I used to develop my first roll of film.

Third: because I was an annoying customer. I ended up on the phone with the owner, I can’t remember his name but he was super friendly and we had a great conversation. I was very happy with the results and I had planned to use them again but ended up finding a tiny little local lab that I used a couple times before diving into developing and scanning my film by myself.

That’s so cool! Yeah! The owners are working hard and very close to their customers!
